Nordschleife track video

Since 1997 I have been a regular visitor to Germany's historic Nordschleife motor racing circuit which is situated in the Eifel mountains about 370 miles east of London. Before photography on the circuit was banned I made a video using a Sony 8mm camera mounted low on the bumper (the closeness of the track to the camera adds a certain sense of drama to the film). The idea of the video was to help people (myself included) to learn and revise their knowledge of the 13.5-mile circuit through repeated viewings of the film. To this end, and in order to save time, I speeded up the film by a factor of three - a bit like some "speed learning" techniques, I found this to be as effective or more so than normal speed.

	Despite rave reviews from kids and parents, this little storybook entitled Fluffy and Hotbot Go To Brussels (originally published in a limited quantity of hardbacks in 2000) has still not found an agent to take it on and sell it into the mainstream, so with this website update it is being offered into the public domain as a free e-book.
